Nina Turczyn is the jewelry artist behind Paprika Design. After studying at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, she moved to the West Coast where she started Paprika; a freelance graphic design business on Gabriola Island. Her work is inspired by Scandinavian design, clean lines, symmetry, and beautiful simplicity in nature and art. She strives for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail and works to infuse these sensibilities into her pieces.
The Oxidized Disc Earrings feature a colorful patina. These beautiful colors - pinks, blues and purples - are achieved using oxidization. Due to the delicate nature of the patina, these earrings should not be cleaned, polished, or worn in the shower.
