Pamela Card is a jewelry artist who lives and works in Vancouver, BC. Her designs are strongly inspired by her travels around the world. With a deep appreciation of art and history, her designs embody the style of jewelry at a time period that bridges between Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman art.
FEATURES:
- The Elephant Gallant necklace was inspired by the long-ago tale of Julius Caesar triumphantly crossing the Thames River high up on the back of an elephant. As a signifier of victory and courageousness, this medallion of antiquity was embossed with light grooves along the exterior and a slightly crackled surface texture to appear as if it was excavated and placed on display in a museum. Set on a delicate box chain, this heirloom piece layers beautifully with longer statement medallions.
- Handmade in Vancouver from 24K Gold Vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated sterling silver).
SIZE + FIT:
- Coin measures 1.6cm in diameter.
- Coin measures 0.15cm in thickness.
