Mikel Grant is a jeweller based in Sechelt, British Columbia. From the time Mikel was old enough to hold a pencil she has enjoyed making things for others, and says she is happiest when creating. Before becoming a jewellery-maker, Mikel took a detour through university and finished a biology degree. Inspired by her studies, she later used a collection of insects as inspiration for her first line of jewelry. Mikel’s current line of jewellery reflects her personal standards for integrity in craft, technique and finish, paying attention to artistry as well as functionality. In 2014, Mikel and her partner Kelly James used their 25th anniversary as inspiration to relocate from Vancouver to Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, and created a unique studio in their home surrounded by forests and wildlife.
This stunning bracelet features a strand of Ethiopian Welo opal rondelles, each one shimmering with a captivating rainbow flash. The gemstones graduate gently in size from approximately 3mm to 4.5mm, creating a soft, graceful flow along the wrist. Finished with 14K gold-filled components and a secure lobster clasp, this bracelet is a luminous celebration of nature’s magic.
This bracelet is an adjustable size that fits a size x-small to intermediate (7" - 8.5").
