Pamela Card is a jewelry artist who lives and works in Vancouver, BC. Her designs are strongly inspired by her travels around the world. With a deep appreciation of art and history, her designs embody the style of jewelry at a time period that bridges between Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman art.
- Pamela Card uses the ancient process of lost wax casting to sculpt and fracture The Birth of Venus Necklace. This piece was inspired by Botticelli’s iconic painting that depicts Venus, the goddess of love, beauty and fertility, arriving at the shore after her birth. The fractured design features the the face of Venus with her windblown hair swept lightly to the side.
- Handmade in Vancouver from 24K Gold Vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated over sterling silver).
