Designers Hiroko Kobayashi and Neil Prakash have practiced architecture at some of the world’s most respected firms. Since 2009, they have translated their modern aesthetic to the scale of the body, as well as the building site. Each piece of jewelry is a miniature study in architectural balance: considering light, space and form to exacting standards.
The Aurora Earrings are a part of the Aurora series, inspired by the Magic of the Northern Lights concept. Watching the northern lights shimmer in the night sky is a magical experience. The aurora borealis is the sun's gift during a long, dark winter. And for centuries, this natural phenomenon has sparked imaginations - including our own. The Aurora series reflects the playful movement of a celestial display. Light swirls and sparkles across the gentle twists, creating a sens of constant motion.
