Minori Takagi is a Japanese glass artist. She first developed her passion for Tombodama, a more traditional type of glassmaking style where glass beads are created through ancient lampworking techniques. After moving to Vancouver in 2006, her style evolved and she began to mix traditional designs with her unique take of the "West Coast Modern", developing her new "wearable art". This art is strongly influenced by the confidence of Vancouver's women, the urban glass skyline, and the incredible ocean, forests, and mountains right at the city's doorstep.
