Frog is known as the great communicator, representing the voice of the people. Frog is revered for its adaptability and power to travel between the two worlds it inhabits (land and water), and both the natural and supernatural realms. Frog is a symbol of good luck and magic.

Travis Henry

Travis Henry, born in Cowichan, BC on Vancouver Island, has been carving since 1982. He was trained by the Seaweed family, who are well known and respected carvers from Alert Bay. Henry carves his silver and gold jewelry in Kwakwaka’wakw style. Henry also acts as a teacher and guide to younger artists who would like to learn about their heritage and the art of carving in precious metals. Apart from Canada, Henry’s carved jewelry can also be found in collections in Japan, the United States, Europe and Australia. Travis currently lives in Langford, BC with his young growing family.
